About Me

My name is Jill and I am currently a freshmen at Whatcom. I graduated last year from Lynden High School. I love playing sports and participated in both soccer and track during high school. Besides hanging out with my buddies and playing sports, I also love playing around with music, such as the djimbae(african drum, kind of like a bongo) piano, singing and writing songs. Through my music I have found an outlet to express myself which I love. With music, I end up writing a lot of poetry, which is the main type of writing I love to do most. My main focus and inspiration of my music and poetry is Jesus Christ. The degree I'm hopefully pursuing is nursing. It's my dream to be able to use nursing in the mission field in other countries who aren't so fortunate and don't have adequate resources/supplies.
