Growing up online response

In "Growing up Online" by Rachel Dretzin she interviews the youth of today and finds out how important computers are in this age of technology. She interviews multiple age groups and one thing is certain that youth toady can have a virtually parent and teacher free life well being logged in to MySpace or facebook or any online chat site. On these chat sites their have been reports of cyber bulling which in some instances has lead to suicide. There even has been people who take on separate identities because there real life is not exciting enough. For instance a young teen by the alias Autumn Eddows made a online website of pictures of her self with a different name because "I didn't feel like myself, but I liked the fact that I didn't feel like myself, I felt like someone completely different. I felt like I was famous" she says. Parents concern on this matter is that it to easy form sexual predators to create separate identities in order to get close to their kids. Dretzin also0 interviews a few teachers of some high schools and finds out just how much technology is changing the way that they must go about their teaching methods.
In today’s society we are all about making thing easier weather it be the invention of something as simple as dishwasher or as complex as the computer technology is everywhere in our lives today. In my life digital technology has effect my life because I feel that it makes things easier. When ever I want to know the definition of a word ill just go online and get the definition in 2 seconds versus looking through the dictionary which would take way longer. This concept can pretty much apply to any instance in which I would want to find anything out. In short I feel that the screen is definitely replacing the page.
