Part 1
In "Growing Up Online" a movie by Rachel Dretzin and john Maggio they interview young teenagers with online accounts along with their parents. These accounts ranged from Facebook for older people and even one called "Club Penguin" that was targeted for elementary school kids. Both still allowing you to "Except" friend request, majority from people you dont even know. The point they tried to bring across was, the internet is not private. If you post it anyone can see it, even the people you dont want to. You cannot deny it, the internet has been and will be one of the most useful tools for searching and staying connected with friends. But it has also become a dangerous tool for predators and bullys.
Part 2
If I were writing a story about the impact the internet has had on my life, I would say that without it my everyday life would be completly different. I use it to look at everything from car parts to writing re seach papers. I think it is a wounderful tool depending on whos hands it is in. If your smart enough to use it you should be smart enough to know that anyone can see what you post.
