American Express, in their advertisement expresses their support for small businesses, and how they change America for the better. The video goes around to a bike shop, flower plantation, cake factory and a restaurant downtown, making them examples of how these people began with a dream. A dream that one day came a reality.
American Express presents this video commercial in exquisite fashion, making it known that their money makes it possible for entrepreneurs to believe in themselves and what they're doing. They point out some prime inspirational footage, where we see a florist walking around with her customer explaining plants, giving information. A restaurant owner helping set tables, getting ready for that busy rush. A bicycle being repaired by the whole team of employees, dedicated to getting the bike fixed. " Entrepreneurs are the most powerful force in the economy, they drive, change and though relentlessly push their businesses to innovate and connect". We go on to see that connection between the seller and the buyer when a man is out on the street selling skate helmets, connecting with his customer, helping to get him the right fit. We also see people baking cakes using the utmost care decorating them, and know that they have passion in what they do. The last example we see is a construction contractor working with the homeowner or crew members making sure things are going according to plan.
American Express knows people have dreams of one day starting their own business, and is reminding us, " they can help ". Its this dedication we see in this video that really makes us believe we can accomplish , but have to take that first step, that step that gets us started. This commercial represents America and the way small businesses are crucially important in our society.
