Clive Thompson

As I read Clive Thompons article on "New Literacy" I found that he was right. I agree with what he was saying about how there is a revolution starting with this new generation. That this new generation is something we haven't seen since the Greek era. He disagree's with a Standford professor by the name of Andrea Lunsford when she says that this new writting is quote "bleak, bald, sad shorthand." She also says that facebook and texting are taking over, when really Thompson says that this new form of writting is great, and something we haven't seen in a very long time.

Thompson claims that this is revealing our abilitly to write and pushing our literacy in bold new directions. I agree with the fact that this new form of writting is great, people are writting more things everyday then ever before. He also says that schools need to come into the new generation, and the new technology that is forming. I agree with Clive Thompson, everyone needs to come into the new era that is forming.
