Umbro Commercial

The start of the commercial i watched starts with i man in his 20's most likely college age with his dog. He is out in the middle of some town on the side walk. Across the street from him you can see an elder woman with a purse sitting at a bus station waiting patiently while reading the newspaper. The man starts baiting the dog with a dog treat trying to get the dog to jump up and get the treat. While doing this he keeps peeking at the bus station across the street with the elder woman. The dog finally takes the bait and jumps, but the man pulls away the treat and with one great kick he boots the dog in a arching motion into the bus station bringing the woman up to her feet in surprise. Up in the corner you can see the Umbro logo appear in the corner.

Umbro a soccer company is advertising itself by having a common man pretend to score that picture perfect goal with a volley bending ball into the top corner of the net. Umbro added humor to this by replacing the ball with a dog and the net with a bus station with a sweet old woman within. By using this setting with your average guy umbro is relating to its audiece.
